Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of MyHome.school, a service provided by Turner Technical Services, LLC ("we," "us"). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

The service

MyHome.school helps homeschooling families capture, store, and share their students' records. We may add, change, or remove features as the product evolves.

Your account

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a contract to create an account. You're responsible for the activity under your account and for keeping your login secure. Let us know promptly at support@myhome.school if you suspect unauthorized use.

Your content

The records, files, and other content you add are yours. You grant us a limited license to store, process, and display that content solely to provide the service to you and the people you choose to share it with. You're responsible for having the rights to the content you upload and for ensuring it's lawful.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for anything unlawful or to infringe others' rights.
• Upload malicious code or attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorized access to the service.
• Misuse invitations, sharing links, or other features to harass others or evade account limits.

Subscriptions and billing

Some features require a paid plan. The current prices, the plans on offer, and any founding-member terms are always shown at checkout before you pay anything. Here's how the money side works:

• Free trial — subscriptions start with a 14-day free trial. You aren't charged until the trial ends, and if you cancel before then you're not charged at all.
• Renewal and cancellation — after the trial, a subscription renews automatically until you cancel it. You can cancel any time from your account. Cancelling takes effect at the end of the period you've already paid for, so you keep your access until then.
• Subscription payments — because you can try the service free first and cancel whenever you like, subscription payments already charged aren't refunded, except where the law says otherwise. That said, if something looks wrong — a charge you didn't expect, a renewal you meant to cancel — email support@myhome.school and we'll look at it fairly rather than hide behind this paragraph.
• One-time (lifetime) purchases — if you buy a one-time plan and it turns out not to be right for you, email us within 30 days of the purchase and we'll refund it in full.
• Founding-member pricing — if you subscribe at a founding-member rate, your subscription keeps renewing at that rate for as long as it stays active. If you cancel and later start a new subscription, whatever price is current then applies.

Payments are processed by Stripe, subject to Stripe's terms. We never see or store your full card number.

Termination

You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or to protect the service and its users. We'll give reasonable notice where we can. You can request export or deletion of your data by contacting us.

Disclaimers

MyHome.school is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We help you keep and organize your records, but you remain responsible for what your own state asks of homeschooling families. MyHome.school is a helpful companion, not legal advice.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Turner Technical Services, LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost data or profits, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we'll update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app or by email. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
